PAL Aerospace is currently accepting resumes for a Sensor Operator (SO) position in our YYT St. John's OR YHZ Halifax base. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a tactical radar picture, in-flight planning, and operation of Electro-Optic/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors to detect and identify sea, air, and land contacts, as well as recording all information acquired during a surveillance mission.
Knowledge of airborne tactical navigation
Minimum of 4 years experience operating airborne surveillance sensors such as multi-mode radar, EO/IR
Experience operating airborne mission systems
Experience operating radio and satellite communication systems
Must be able to deploy for extended rotations domestically and internationally
Military experience is considered an asset
Experience as crewmember on Dash-8 aircraft is considered an asset
Experience collaborating with international clients is considered an asset
Able to meet medical testing requirements including Underwater Egress Training
Must be able to obtain required security clearances
