DECA Aviation is a division of PAL Aerospace and is accepting applications for a motivated, energetic and career-minded Sales Manager at the Mississauga, Ontario base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance DECA’s relationships with existing and new clients
  • Develop and implement sales plans for DECA’s engineering services and kits
  •  Develop and build the sales function within DECA Aviation to support growth
  •  Manage sales budget and work with the Operations Manager to set priorities
  • Identify and solicit potential clients and markets
  • Provide feedback on market requirements to support decisions on product and service development at DECA
  • Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager to develop acceptable proposals and contracts that meet client needs, while achieving DECA Aviation’s objectives
  • Prepare and review sales reports to measure performance against objectives
  • Forecast and analyze performance objectives including pipelines and scheduling
  • Work with the Marketing Division in executing sales campaigns and community events 
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or Diploma from a recognized educational institution in Business with a focus in Sales/Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • An engineering technical background may be considered an asset
  • Experience in Sales and Account Management
  • Experience in Aviation and Aerospace would be considered an asset
  • Proven track record of sales in an Aerospace or Engineering Services company
  • A positive, friendly demeanor and customer focused approach
  • Strong negotiation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to creatively solve issues and problems
  • Effective written communication and presentation skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office programs
  • Ability to travel throughout customer markets is essential
