PAL Aerospace is seeking qualified applications for a permanent position of Quality Coordinator at our St. John’s, NL. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Safety, the Quality Coordinator role will focus on the auditing and quality coordination of aircraft modification programs.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conduct inspections and quality compliance audits to verify compliance with policies and procedures
Reports identified non-conformances for resolution
Completes verification on identified non-conformances to ensure effective resolution
Coordinates EDF process as it relates to aircraft modification programs
Supports divisional teams in the application of the defined quality program
Ensures all relevant documentation is current and compliant based on ongoing project and production requirements
Reviews procedures and metrics that impact quality and makes recommendations for improvement
Other duties as assigned
Minimum of two years’ experience auditing in an aviation environment is required
Knowledge of AS9110 C is considered an asset
Holder of a valid Transport Canada AME license is considered an asset. Equivalent level of related maintenance or flight operational experience will be considered.
Knowledgeable regarding the Canadian Aviation regulations and Maintenance Control Manual are required
Must possess proven problem solving skills
Technical knowledge of aircraft types operated and maintained by the company
Able to communicate effectively
Quality assurance background including audit experience
