We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets and we are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team in Ottawa, ON.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all marketing, branding and tradeshows for PAL Aerospace
  • Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy, based on organizational objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors
  • Lead marketing activities and policies to promote products and services across all platforms
  • Analyze market trends to determine feasibility and profitability of new or existing offerings
  • Maximize brand value through the development of new opportunities
  • Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with company goals and objectives
  • Ensure all products, services, and other offerings are consistent with brand identity and conduct ongoing brand management
  • Determine pricing and profitability margins based on market research and projections
  • Collaborate with company departments to prepare forecasts
  • Develop marketing plans within budget requirements
  • Prepare and deliver reports on the KPIs and status of all marketing programs and initiatives to senior management
  • Attend trade shows and conventions to build relationships and promote the company
  • Communicate and negotiate with promotional partners as needed
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitor activities and make recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned



  • University degree or diploma in business administration with a focus in marketing or sales
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a marketing role
  • 3-5 years’ in a management position in a large organization
  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful marketing programs
  • Experience completing project from concept to finished project
  • Experience attending tradeshows and conventions as a company representative
  • Ability to lead a creative team across multiple locations
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices and regulations
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with key business partners
  • Strong knowledge of competitive analysis methods and KPI reporting
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven team player who takes initiative and is flexible and adaptable
