PAL Aerospace is seeking qualified applications for a permanent position of Inventory Control Manager in our St. John’s, NL base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the stores and procurement department
Control, measure and regulate efficient inventory levels based on operational requirements balanced with financial consideration
Coordinate procurement activities based on planned inventory replenishment
Coordinate process of rotable equipment overhaul and replacement
Responsible for enhancing the process of inventory monitoring, measurement and reporting
Facilitates physical inventory counts and valuations
Work closely with accounting staff to ensure inventory sub-ledger is maintained in-balance with control accounts
Initiate and coordinate system upgrades and enhancements with the entire system user group
Determining root causes of inventory inaccuracies and implementing preventative actions
Coordinate system administration of inventory sub-ledger system
Track and measure defined KPIs for inventory control
Other projects as assigned including bar coding and min and max
Must have good interpersonal skills
Minimum 5 years experience in an Inventory Control Management role
SCMP designation through Supply Chain Management Association would be considered an asset or willingness to attain designation.
Must be project driven with strong analytical and organizational skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
Previous lead/management experience would be an asset
An accounting background would be an asset
