PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for Aeronautical Engineer – Operation Support position in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This is a permanent position, which requires relocation to Abu Dhabi (UAE).

The Aeronautical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Work on individual projects or as part of a group in all areas of aircraft operations and servicing for a small fleet of specialized turbo prop Dash 8, Q300 Marine Patrol Aircraft

  • Support management in interfacing directly with customers, and internal and external suppliers

  • Preparation of compliance reports and records from all areas of aircraft support documentation and operational procedure conceptualization to final approval:

    • Airworthiness approval documentation

    • Engineering drawings

    • Ground and flight test plans, analysis, and reports

    • Instructions for continued airworthiness, flight manual supplements, and service bulletins

    • Review applicability, formal recommendation and process for implementation of all AD and SB

    • Airworthiness compliance

    • Engineering analysis reports primarily in areas of electrical, and mechanical systems

    • Trend/Realability Monitoring and Analysis, forcasting, recommendations MTBF’s, Sparing, Upgrades, Fleet and obsolosence management

    • Configuration Management

    • Validation and sign off of Standard Operating Procedures, maintenece, air operator manuals, and equipments lists

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus in Aerospace Engineering is preferred, or equivalent education and experience

  • Knowledge and experience in systems in both mechanical and electrical preferred

  • Knowledge in systems safety analysis, FMEA, FHA

  • P.Eng or EIT is preferred

  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations, EASA, FAA regulations and or Airworthiness rules an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment

  • Excellent organization and time management skills
